Haying

Even pregnant ladies aren’t off the hook for haying. Hay gets cut, then “tedded” (fluffed… to dry it out) a few times the next day, then bailed up whenever it’s dry. SInce we don’t have a chute to put the bails directly onto the wagon, our job is to lift em all up and stack them on the wagon to take back to the barn.

   On the hay wagon: left is Dana who is staying down the road and comes over for dinner every Thursday night; right is Tyler Shannon’s boyfriend. On the ground: left is Bradford; right is Heather Dana’s girlfriend who also comes over every Thursday and is due to have a baby about a week ago!!!!
