View of Bassenthwaite Lake
This is the view as we began our ascension of Skiddaw, the forth highest peak in the Lake District. In general, the nicest views were from relatively early in the climb, because by the time you get to the top you can basically only see other peaks surrounding and maybe a distant tiny lake or two.
