Mastatal Still

So for those of you who are wondering… what the heck happened to Janet? I am still alive and still occastionally on the internet… but really not that much has happened and internet time is few and usually expensive. Besides, english is getting harder and harder to conjugate in (sorry about the gramatical mistakes in other words).

Basically, I am still living and working in Mastatal. We have been working a lot trying to finish up this spanish school construction but everything gets stalled as is wont to happen in Costa Rica, so I’ve also been doing a lot of raking and cooking and cleaning and gardening and other things which is fine also. I have some pretty cool friends who are other gringas but they keep leaving me as soon as I get close to them…. I have two awesome tica sisters and a great brother who sometimes takes me on motorcycle rides or buys ice cream… and with whom I’m going to the beach this weekend.

Basically it’s great here.

Looking forward, I’m coming home to the states in May… not sure what I’m doing there yet but most likely maybe living in Chicago and working around somewhere with whatever I can find. If you are in Michigan over the summer make sure we see eachother cause who knows how long it’ll be before I come back this way!
