BREAKING NEWS!!!!!! BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!

Sooooooo…. this isn’t for sure yet, but it is looking more and more likely that I will in fact be RETURNING to the US on Sept. 25th, instead of staying here indefinately as I had hoped. This is largely due to all of my friends ganging up on me last night to tell me that I am stupid to be a gringa travelling alone in Venezuela without sufficient monetary funds. Plus there are complications on flight plans, no news from the botanical garden, apprently rising tensions between our governments, etc etc. So not for sure yet because I would like to talk to some more people and get a better idea of exactly what the situation is, BUT if any of you guys out there HAPPEN to know of a cool job opportunity in your area…. preferably relating to biology in some way, ideally relating to botanical field research or organic sustainable agriculture and involving money and or housing…… you win getting to see me!!!!!!!!! Wow.
