Overdue Peru/Bolivia musings, and pictures!
Jungle near Santa Cruz
Continuing south in Bolivia, we spent several weeks based out of the relaxing low-land city of Santa Cruz. With delicious artisinal ice cream and coffee venders strolling around the central square in the evening, it was the height of luxury. Based out of Santa Cruz, we went on several few-day trips, one to go camping in the jungle where this picture was taken.
