Welcome to the Lake District
We arrived in Bowness-on-Windermere, and with the help of two cups of coffee and a little park brochure put our brains together to plan the most amazing loop to see the best of the Lake District in four days. Day 1: ferry west over Windermere and into the lovely Grizedale Forest.
