Gordale Scar

Upstream from my Foss is the impressive ravine of the Gordale Scar. It was created by glacial runoff I guess but don’t ask me to explain how. They are clearly not as excited by lawyers and suing in England, because the public right of way apparently leads all the way up the ravine scrambling over two waterfalls, and there isn’t even a sign to warn the public that it could be slippery. I couldn’t believe that it was allowed so we didn’t climb up.
